Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer Overview US Conec is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to join our Operations team. In this role, you’ll plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing processes in the plant. Responds to manufacturing issues and concerns to ensure products are produced to specifications. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization. Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Responsibilities Develop assembly instructions for new products to ensure quality and speedy inspection. Provide timely, accurate and competitive piece rates for current and developing products. Study and record time, motion, methods, speeds and performance of production and other work operations to establish standard production rates and to improve efficiency. Institute changes in the production processes and/or recommend adjustments to produce pricing. Communicate with customers and engineering staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods. Confere with vendors to determine part specification and recommend the purchase of equipment and materials used in production. Develop and write equipment specifications, performance requirements, cost analysis, and propose for integrating machinery and equipment into manufacturing process. Prepare detailed quotations for fixture, tool, and engineering requirements to be used in developing a formal quote for customer. Coordinate all aspects of a job including tool design, fixture design, numerical control, part programming, machine delivery, prove‑out and runoff of a customer's part. Provide detailed documentation of a job including tool and fixture drawings, definition of setup, and operational procedures. Test ability of machines to perform designated tasks. Must Haves Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 3 years of engineering experience required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Ability to effectively present information to management team. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software. General knowledge of industry standards.
