While most assignment hours are 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, schedule flexibility is required. Some sites may open at 6AM and some may not close until 7PM or later with other locations that are open on the weekend and other times may vary
Driving is required

This role will cover several different locations in the CT area, and the contingent worker will be required to drive between the sites (Mileage is reimbursable at 0.72/mile). Could be required to drive up to 50 miles to cover a site. Depending on the site, the worker will be responsive for mail room services, print production, or reception. The environment will range from legal, insurance, hospital (not around patients) and manufacturing (not on the machinery floors). In addition to customer service, the manager is looking for a candidate with a willingness to drive and reliable transportation. Previous experience with mail will help candidates but is not a deal breaker. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time. Candidates will not be using large equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily operations at various Ricoh customer locations
• Provide mailroom, print production, reception, and office support services
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail, packages, scanning, copying, and document support
• Deliver excellent customer service to employees and visitors
• Cover sites for employee absences, vacations, training, or special projects
• Assist with onboarding and cross-training support when needed
• Maintain site procedures and safety compliance
• Communicate effectively with management and customers
• Use Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Submit mileage and expense reports accurately and on time

Travel & Driving Requirements

• Travel between multiple client sites throughout Connecticut
• May be required to cover multiple locations in one day
• Must be comfortable driving up to 40-50 miles between sites
• Reliable personal transportation required
• Valid driver's license required
• Mileage reimbursed at $0.72 per mile
• Parking is free or reimbursable depending on the site

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Minimum 12 months of related work experience preferred
• Customer service or office support experience preferred
• Mailroom or print experience is a plus but not required
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and tasks

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in office and warehouse-style environments
• May involve bending, reaching, stretching, and moving equipment or packages
