Registered Nurse, MedSurg/Tele -4th Floor, Full Time, Night Shift,

Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Unit delivers safe, compassionate, and comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with acute and chronic conditions. The RN utilizes critical thinking skills, evidence-based practice, and advanced monitoring technology to provide high-quality care and promote positive patient outcomes. Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, assess patient condition changes, and communicate findings promptly to physicians. Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform treatments as prescribed. Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning. Maintain patient safety and infection control standards at all times. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred. Licensure/Certification: Current Florida RN License (unrestricted). Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (from AHA). NIHSS certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent acute care experience in a hospital setting preferred; Telemetry experience strongly desired. Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. Must clear background and drug test required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
