Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Cottage Grove, MN

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary-aged students in a dynamic school-based setting near Cottage Grove, MN. This is a full-time role, running now through June 5th, where you’ll collaborate with educational teams and make a genuine impact on the communication and language development of young learners. The position is approximately 7.25 hours per day and may be based within one or two buildings, serving around 50 enthusiastic elementary students. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a blend of clinical skill and educational insight, ready to support each student’s unique growth. Supervision can be provided for Clinical Fellows seeking to complete their CFY. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow State licensure (or eligibility) in Minnesota for school-based SLP practice Experience working with pediatric and elementary student populations Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with students, parents, and educational staff Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based SLP documentation Key Responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEPs Conduct assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor student progress Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner Enjoy the opportunity to create a positive difference in the lives of students, broaden your experience in pediatric therapy, and collaborate within a welcoming educational community.
