CAD TECHNICIAN

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering CADD Technician to join our team in our West Palm Beach, FL

Position Overview: The Engineering CADD Technician will assist project engineers by preparing construction drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects including water, sewer, drainage, roadway, and site development. The role requires a strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D, a solid understanding of engineering design principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Produce construction drawings, plan sets, and technical details for civil engineering projects

* Prepare utility, grading, and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D

* Interpret and apply engineering markups and redlines

* Assist in compiling drawing sets and supporting documentation for permitting and construction

* Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings are consistent with project requirements

* Maintain organized digital file structures and follow company CAD standards

* Ensure accuracy and quality of work while meeting schedules and deadlines

Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting

* Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (latest version required)

* Familiarity with civil engineering infrastructure such as water, sewer, storm water, and roadway systems

* Ability to read and understand engineering plans and specifications

* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

* Strong verbal and written communication skills
