Job Description

As a Public Relations Specialist at Skillbridge Academy, you will help strengthen and protect the organization's public image through strategic communication initiatives, media relations, event support, and brand messaging.

You will work closely with internal teams to develop clear and engaging communications, coordinate public relations activities, identify opportunities to increase brand visibility, and ensure consistent messaging across different channels and initiatives.

The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who is organized, adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support public relations and communication strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Prepare press releases, announcements, company communications, presentations, and other written materials.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with media representatives, community partners, organizations, and key stakeholders.
• Assist with the planning and coordination of company events, public appearances, presentations, and community initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and public visibility.
• Maintain consistent company messaging, tone, and brand positioning across communications.
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and communicate important company developments.
• Monitor public perception, industry conversations, and relevant news affecting the organization.
• Support communication efforts during important company announcements, campaigns, and organizational initiatives.
• Maintain organized records of media contacts, communication materials, campaigns, and public relations activities.
