Part Time Registered Nurse RN

Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, manage informed consent, AIDS education, confidential self‑exclusion, medical history interview, and acceptance requirements. Perform physical examination, blood testing, and review serological protein electrophoresis (SPE). Evaluate donor reactions per SOPs, follow medical emergency SOPs and donor transport procedures. Provide guidance to donors on unacceptable findings and medical or technical issues in consultation with Center Physician or Medical Affairs. Support employee Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs. Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation per occupational health/ER and EHS guidance. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS, supporting investigations related to pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalence of a recognized nursing program with state requirements. Currently licensed or certified RN, NP, or PA in the state of assignment. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Minimum two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
