Sitter Wanted - Christian Special Needs Aide Church Buddy

**Please only contact if you can provide references serving in the church and have special needs training/experience. Thank you.** We are parents of an autistic 9 year old boy hoping to have help while at church every *other* Sunday. ( Our non-denominational church has 2 services, so you won’t have to miss, if that interests you) They currently do not have a special needs ministry but is allowing our son in kids church with one of us or with an aide. This would be 11:30am-1:15pm/1:30pm, latest. First service starts at 9:15am if you don’t want to miss church on those days. We just would like a time to relax during service while our son, also gets to be a part of Sunday school. We want him to come along with us. Our son is very sweet and his behavior has gotten much better. No history of aggression. Is not destructive. He knows how to use the bathroom. Music and lights do not bother him. He may try to elope and moves around a lot. But can remain sitting for at least 5-10 mins at different times. He has a few meltdowns but with comforting, calm assertiveness and redirection it ends pretty quickly. He will try to grab others snacks and candy.
