Nurse Clinical Ambulatory

This position involves providing disease-specific patient care to a group of patients with serious acute and/or chronic health events. The nurse will also care for patients seeking healthcare to maintain their wellness. Responsibilities include skilled assessments, care plans, and care plan implementation. Patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions are also part of the role. The position requires working with medical professionals in a busy ambulatory care setting. There is a focus on quality, safety, and service as part of patient-centered care. A working knowledge of nursing and departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed for success. This role does not require travel experience. Candidates must float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals. Local travelers within a specific distance are not accepted for this position. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria to be considered for this position. Minimum experience is required in the specialty field.
