Full Time PACU Nurse

Role The PACU Registered Nurse provides peri-operative patient care across all ages, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with standards under the supervision of the PeriAnesthesia Director. Responsibilities Includes direct patient care, supervising ancillary staff, participating in quality improvement, risk management, and policy development. Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and effective communication with patients, families, and staff. Contributes to service excellence, documentation accuracy, and cost-effective practices. Qualifications & Skills Requires RN licensure, current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with at least 2 years of critical care experience. Must be computer literate, able to work under stress, demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and effective communication. Key Duties Adheres to staffing schedules, participates in on-call rotations, mentors staff, ensures patient safety, and supports facility growth through service and quality initiatives. Physical demands include lifting, standing, and working in a clinical environment with exposure to hazards.
