Position Summary The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, creating a welcoming environment, handling patient check in/outs, managing calls/emails, scheduling, providing information, resolving issues, and performing administrative tasks like data entry ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service in medical facilities. Responsibilities Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Certificate Required Skills Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office/health care setting Minimum 2 years of health care insurance experience Strong computer knowledge and skills with a minimum typing speed of 30 WPM Strong desire to assist others and provide excellent customer service Must be highly dependable and organized Outstanding interpersonal skills An impeccably clean, polished, professional image The ability to learn quickly, retain training, problem solve and think independently Preferred Skills Understanding of medical terminology Qualifications Dependable transportation required to travel to other offices as required Must be flexible with traveling to various locations. Ability to pay attention to detail Ability to maintain confidentiality The ability to seek instruction in areas where he/she is not knowledgeable The ability to recognize inconsistencies Education: Graduation from an accredited high school Company Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401k w/ Match
