POSITION : Seasonal Tennis Instructor, Youth Tennis – P/T Hourly REPORTS TO : Tennis Coordinator Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an opening for a Seasonal Tennis Instructor, Youth Tennis at the McFetridge Sports Center. The Tennis Instructor is responsible for teaching tennis camps for kids at the McFetridge Sports Center.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Instruct tennis camp, Sports Camp and Tennis Academy with knowledge of the basic tennis skills and terminology. Utilize available tennis equipment to maximize the development of basic tennis strokes in small and large group lessons. Notify Tennis Coordinator of any equipment repairs needed and maintain courts. Provide a safe and fun environment that promotes enjoying the sport for exercise and fun.SKILLS REQUIRED
Maintain an overall positive attitude with clients, patrons, staff members, and management. Excellent communication skills. Punctual and reliable. Develop and teach lesson plans in a team environment. Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur, including to help cover classes schedules as needed. Ability to maintain program model that has been implemented. Ensuring and following safety measures and regulations. Physical ability to stand for long periods of time while on the court.QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should have previous tennis instruction experience. The applicant must have the ability to teach fundamental tennis skills to children 4 to 18 years old and adults of various skill levels.PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
PTR or USPTA level 1 certification or higher or be registered to take the level 1 certification exam. Must be available to work morning and afternoon shifts. Must be CPR Certified.SCHEDULE
Seasonal Tennis Instructors are expected to work Monday through Friday during the day. This role is seasonal and expected to work from June 15th, 2026, to August 17th, 2026.HOURLY RATE RANGE
$20.00 - $25.50BENEFITS
