Position: Youth Group Supervisor Childhelp, Alice C. Tyler Village in Lignum, Virginia. Pay : Salary based on education, experience and qualifications. Starting at $58,240. What you will do Develop and manage the daily living program within each cottage. Train and supervise Youth Care Workers within the cottage. Create an atmosphere supportive of the needs of the youth. Collaborate with professional staff to establish and meet each youth’s treatment plan goals. Perform standard level paraprofessional work in all aspects of program operations. Report to the Director of Group Living. To be considered you should Be at least 21 years old. Hold a bachelor’s degree in social work or psychology and have two years of professional experience working with children, with at least one year in a residential facility for children. Or hold a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of five years of professional experience working with children, with at least two years in a residential facility. Or have a combination of education and experience approved by the department; and have a minimum of one year in a psychiatric residential treatment facility. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. Schedule Monday – Friday, varied shifts based on operational need. Rotating on‑call shifts (bonus) required. Experience One year experience in a residential facility for children. Two years professional experience working with children.
