About the Position

Medix has partnered with a premier healthcare facility to find a dedicated PET/CT Tech for a high-impact travel assignment in Reston. As a trusted healthcare clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging while delivering compassionate patient care. In this role, you will perform PET/CT imaging procedures across pediatric to geriatric populations, conduct equipment quality control, manage radiopharmaceutical doses, and optimize digital image data for physician interpretation. Schedule Details Work Week: Monday – Friday (No nights or weekends; flexible schedule as 4x10s or 5x8s) Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift (40 hours per week). Responsibilities • Perform imaging procedures for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations, maintaining NRC and State compliance. • Complete routine equipment quality control testing and maintain regulatory documentation. • Operate nuclear medicine/PET-CT imaging equipment, computer systems, and related software. • Order and manage radiopharmaceutical doses to support daily patient diagnostic care. • Process, analyze, and optimize imaging data for physician interpretation while archiving digital records.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a PET/CT Tech (2 years preferred)
• ARRT or NMTCB active registration in good standing
• Compliance with NRC and state radiation safety requirements
