The Role
- Build, scale, and maintain backend services using Python
- Design and develop APIs that power key platform functionality
- Work closely with Product and Design teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Contribute to architecture decisions that improve performance, scalability, and reliability
- Develop systems across onboarding, customer management, communications, integrations, and operational tooling
- Take ownership of features and projects from design through deployment
- Promote engineering best practices and high-quality code standards
- Support the growth of a modern cloud-based platform serving a growing user base
- Strong commercial experience with Python backend development
- Experience working with Django, Flask, or similar frameworks
- Expertise designing and building REST APIs
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and web application architecture
- Experience working with relational databases and ORM technologies
- Exposure to AWS and cloud-native environments
- Experience building customer-facing products within SaaS, marketplace, consumer technology, or other product-led businesses
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively across teams
- Product-minded approach with a strong sense of ownership
- $155,000 - $225,000 base salary
