CNC Swiss Machinist

We are looking for a skilled CNC Swiss Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain our multi-axis Swiss-style automatic lathes. In this role, you’ll work with high-precision components, holding tight tolerances and bringing complex parts from blueprint to final inspection. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $70,000 – $95,000 (based on experience), plus an annual bonus, 401(k), paid time off, and full health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Load material, unload finished parts, deburr edges for safety, and run daily maintenance and cleaning checks on your machine.

• Job Setups: Install fixtures, assemble cutting tools per tool sheets, download CNC programs, set machining offsets (G54, etc.), run test parts, and make adjustments until parts meet specs.

• Tooling & Offsets: Recognize tool wear, adjust tool/fixture offsets, and build/replace tooling as needed.

• Quality Inspection: Use hand tools (calipers, micrometers, gages) and inspect parts on a CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or vision system to make sure every part meets blueprint specs.

• Shop Collaboration: Read CNC programs line-by-line, run multiple machines when scheduled, fill out quality paperwork, and train newer team members on machines you've mastered.
