Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: New Albany, IN 47150
Duration: 3+ months with possibilities of extension
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am - 7pm, Sat/Sun 8-2 (Clinic will do a schedule that usually includes them working two 12 hr shifts, one 10hr shift and a 6hr shift to equal 40 hours. it would be a rotation of working every other weekend.) This job will have the following responsibilities:

- Room patients and prepare them for examination by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting chief complaints
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections, vaccines, and medications per provider orders
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and EKGs (if applicable)
- Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and prepared between patients
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
