Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Manager - Mechanical Solutions applying the following areas of expertise: Mechanical Piping Systems, Prior sales and Commercial Plumbing and Hydronics experience is preferred. If you have experience juggling multiple requests while still meeting urgent deadlines, this is an excellent opportunity to grow! Responsibilities Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of Mechanical Solutions sales specialists to pursue prospects, promote products, offer solutions and achieve sales targets Develop and manage product strategy Supervise sales trends, market dynamics, product performance results and customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts Take ownership of solving problems and engage other stakeholders as appropriate - Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure coordination and exceptional service levels Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies, and guidelines to the management team Conduct regular associate meetings Support corporate programs, goals, and initiatives of the company Qualifications Strong expertise in mechanical piping systems Extensive knowledge of hydronics and water heaters Sophisticated mechanical proficiency required with a technical degree or equivalent experience a plus Minimum of 5+ years’ sales experience and prior management experience preferred Ability to travel/cover the New England market Leadership and communication skills Familiarity with building information modeling tools and trends Exceptional sales presentation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Benefits and Pay At Ferguson, we care for each other. • Pay Range: - $7,650.00 - $16,720.00 - Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
• This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
• Ferguson complies with all wage regulations. The starting wage may be higher in certain locations based on local or state wage requirements.
