Schlesinger's Steakhouse is looking for an experienced, dependable Saut Cook who knows how to run a station, stay organized, and consistently execute great food in a busy professional kitchen.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of your saut station from prep through closing
• Keep your station prepped, stocked, clean, and ready for service
• Prepare steaks, seafood, sauces, and other menu items to established standards
• Execute dishes with speed, consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Manage multiple tickets and priorities during high-volume service
• Maintain proper temperatures, portions, cooking techniques, and presentation
• Stay ahead of prep and anticipate what your station will need
• Communicate clearly with chefs and fellow kitchen staff
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area throughout service
• Assist with breakdown, closing, and other kitchen duties
• Step up and help the team when and where needed

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has professional line-cook experience required
• Has experience working a saut station in a busy kitchen
• Has a delicate hand with seafood and steak
• Has strong knife skills and solid professional cooking techniques
• Can confidently manage a station during a busy service
• Understands timing, organization, urgency, and consistency
• Is dependable and takes their schedule seriously
• Shows up on time, prepared, and ready to work
• Takes pride in quality, cleanliness, and attention to detail
• Communicates well and works effectively as part of a team
• Has steakhouse, upscale casual, or high-volume restaurant experience preferred
• Is available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Takes initiative and solves problems
