Job Title: Case Manager Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Case Management Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience License: Valid State License required Certifications: Required Must-Have: - Previous case management experience - Experience with HMOs, IPAs, and advance directive processes - Strong understanding of appeals and denials, benefits eligibility, and discharge planning - Familiarity with CMS guidelines and HIPAA regulations - Experience in care coordination and prior authorizations Description: Required to work every other weekend. Acute care experience is essential. First-timers accepted with clinical approval. Will be required to float between like units based on operational needs. Local candidates are welcome to apply. Charting will be conducted through an electronic system. A comprehensive support system is available for housing assistance. Nature enthusiasts will find the location offers easy access to various natural attractions. The area has numerous parks that showcase unique landscapes and fauna. The community values a rich history and distinct architecture. Candidates must commit to three of the five major holidays during their assignment. References covering relevant experience will be required before the start date. Travelers may need to adapt to changing unit needs throughout their assignment. Mobile communication devices may be provided for work-related tasks. Additional compliance documentation will be needed prior to role commencement.
