Patients requiring emergency care and those seeking treatment for non-urgent care will be assisted. The Emergency Nurse triages patients according to their care requirements. Ongoing assessment of patient conditions and immediate interventions are essential responsibilities. Discharge teaching is also a key component of this role. The Emergency Department Nurse provides care to various populations including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. It is crucial to interact effectively with individuals according to their intellectual level and physical ability.
