Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Unix/Linux Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot Oracle Unix/Linux infrastructure in a large-scale enterprise environment. Responsibilities include server installation and configuration, OS patching, performance monitoring, shell scripting, security hardening, disaster recovery, high availability, and backup/recovery using Symantec NetBackup and Veeam.
Key Requirements:
- 6–8 years of Oracle Linux/Unix system administration experience.
- Strong Linux/Unix installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Oracle LDOMs, Zones/containers, and ZFS.
- Shell scripting and networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, LDAP, SSH, SFTP, SSL, SMTP, and SNMP.
- Experience supporting Oracle WebLogic, Oracle RDBMS, and Oracle Exadata.
- Knowledge of SAN, ASM, and OCFS storage technologies.
- Backup and recovery experience with Symantec NetBackup and Veeam.
- Experience with security patching, high availability, disaster recovery, and change management.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
