Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN - Stepdown nurse for a travel assignment in Weston, WI. This role involves working in an acute care setting within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), where you will manage a variety of cardiac and respiratory conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the specialty and be prepared for the demands of this fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown

• Manage IV nitro, heparin, diltiazem, and amio drips
• Deliver care to cardiac patients post-cath lab and those with nstemi, afib, CHF, and GI bleeds
• Titrate medication drips as required
• Collaborate with charge nurses and CNAs for optimal patient care
• Utilize CPAP, BiPAP, and optiflow for respiratory support
• Float to MS or IMC overflow in ICU as needed

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown

• Valid RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA)
• Experience with post-cath lab patient management recommended
• Must have skills in titrating common drips
