Note: Active Maryland bar admissions is required. Virginia bar admission is preferred, along with 3+ years of directly relevant labor and employment law experience. Description Handle a broad range of labor and employment matters on behalf of employer clients. Defend EEOC claims and employment-related civil litigation in state and federal courts. Advise clients on general employment and workplace matters. Handle employment discrimination and wage and hour disputes. Assist with unfair labor practice claims and labor relations matters. Provide practical legal guidance on day-to-day employment issues and workplace decisions. Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents. Communicate directly with clients and develop practical strategies tailored to their business needs. Work collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals on complex labor and employment matters. Handle immigration-related employment matters as part of a broad labor and employment practice. Qualifications Active Maryland bar admission required. 3+ years of labor and employment law experience required. Experience defending EEOC claims and employment litigation strongly preferred. Experience with employment discrimination and wage and hour matters. Familiarity with unfair labor practice claims and labor relations. Immigration law experience is a plus. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent judgment, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple matters effectively while maintaining strong client relationships.
