Senior Director - Dreamit Ventures Securetech

Dreamit Ventures is a leading venture fund focused on startups with revenue or pilots that are ready to scale. Dreamit specializes in startups building transformative companies in two key verticals: Healthtech and Securetech. Dreamit is hiring a Senior Director to help grow our Securetech vertical. Dreamit Securetech investments encompass cybersecurity, anti-fraud, risk & compliance, and physical security startups. The Dreamit Securetech Senior Director is responsible for refining and executing the Securetech vertical’s strategy along with tactical execution to attract and recruit high-potential startups. The role involves driving multifaceted marketing and business development activities, expanding key partner relationships with security leaders (CISOs, CSOs), go-to-market partners (MSSPs, VARs, SIs), and cybersecurity investors. The role is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned security/cybersecurity professional with innate sales and marketing talent and a strong interest in venture capital and early-stage startups. The role will leverage your superpowers and passion for supporting Dreamit startups’ growth and the overall vertical. Duties and Responsibilities: Set, manage, and deliver against the Securetech vertical’s goals focused on deal flow and investing in top Securetech startups. Build upon and enhance the Dreamit Securetech brand and drive category thought leadership, event presence, and overall awareness. Network with and engage startups throughout the year. Work closely with the Securetech Managing Director, Program Manager, and Associates to grow the Dreamit Securetech vertical. Build and deepen relationships with security-focused venture investors, programs, and ecosystem partners. Attract new security executives for Securetech Customer Sprints. Qualifications: 5+ years of work experience in cybersecurity/security. Exceptional strength in sales, marketing, and business development. Remarkable oral, written, organizational, and communication skills. Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a strong work ethic. Hunter’s mentality for bringing in new deals. Experience and/or comfort working in a fast-paced environment. Plusses: Military/government/intelligence community background.
