Job Description

Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures to produce high-quality images that aid in patient diagnosis. Acts as the primary point of contact for patients and healthcare staff during imaging sessions, ensuring smooth workflow and patient comfort. Contributes to quality assurance and clinical process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Execute diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and regulatory standards.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and safety measures throughout the imaging process.
• Process and transmit images securely to PACS for interpretation by physicians.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient information.
• Participate in quality control activities to uphold imaging standards and department efficiency.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to meet patient care objectives.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ARRT certification in Radiography or equivalent credential.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Maintain current knowledge of HFAP, TJC, CMS, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
• Possess strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Have excellent attention to detail for accurate image processing and documentation.
