Counter Sales - Warehouse - Forklift AssociateHiring a warehouse associate with forklift and counter sales or customer service experience to support an HVAC manufacturing organization that is the leader in climate control products. Need a team player who is okay with helping where needed in the store, someone who can support warehouse operations - not just forklift; whether working in the warehouse, at the counter helping customers or could be answering phones. PAY RATE: 20.00 hour HOURS: 7:30am to 4:30pm (M-F) LOCATION: Urbandale, IA 50323 DUTIES:Under general supervision, performs manual warehouse and computer clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products.Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used. Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.Completes written and computerized documentation.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or GED - RequiredDrug TestBackground Check (Felony and Misdemeanor last 7 years)JOB REQUIREMENTS:Forklift operation - RequiredCounter Sales or Customer Service experienceComputer skills to look up parts for customers and customer ordersSAP EWM experience would be preferredShipping and Receiving experienceGood oral and written communications skills.Good computer skills required: Microsoft applications.General HVAC knowledge helpfulMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Pre-Employment Screening: Please note that all offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening based on local, state and federal laws in your region.
