In close collaboration with Regional Medical Affairs, GMA Strategy and Execution, and Clinical Development, the GMAL develops integrated medical strategies and cross-regional plans that support asset development and worldwide execution. The GMAL represents the medical function on key cross-functional teams including Safety Management Teams, Compound Development Teams, and the 3M team (Medical/Marketing/Market Access). Role reports to the Head, Global Medical Affairs, Psoriatic Disease.You will be responsible for:Develop and lead global medical affairs strategies and plans aligned with prioritized regional needsCollaborate closely with Regional Medical Affairs for alignment on plans and decisionsLead global publications strategy and planning including manuscripts, abstracts, and postersOversee global KOL communications and speaker developmentReview scientific materials to ensure alignment with strategy and communication qualityLead global opinion leader engagement and advisory boards across therapeutic areasRepresent medical affairs on Safety Management Team(s) (SMT), Compound Development Team(s) (CDT) and Global Commercial Team(s) (GCT)Oversee global medical activities, including launch activities, congresses, and symposia.Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson compliance standardsReview Medical Information Core ResponsesQualifications / Requirements:Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) requiredA minimum of 8 years of combined relevant experience in a medical/clinical environment and/or scientific function in the pharmaceutical industry is requiredGlobal medical affairs experience strongly preferredTherapeutic expertise in dermatology highly preferredEstablished network with therapeutic-area opinion leaders preferredLaunch experience preferredAbility to lead matrixed, cross-functional teamsKnowledge of clinical study methodology, data interpretation, and benefit-risk managementEthical decision-making and ability to innovate in complex environmentsUp to 25% domestic and international travelThis position is located in Horsham, PA and follows a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remotely per weekJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
