Position Overview: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 4pm Occasional OT

We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual interested in developing a career in industrial maintenance within a glass and mirror manufacturing environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical knowledge who enjoys working with machinery, solving problems, and learning how manufacturing equipment operates.

You do not need to be an experienced industrial maintenance technician. We are looking for someone with mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and the commitment to develop their skills through hands-on training.

The company is willing to invest time in training the right individual on its equipment, manufacturing processes, and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance on glass edging, etching, beveling, and mirror manufacturing equipment.
• Replace belts, rollers, and other common mechanical components.
• Learn to inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyor systems and production machinery.
• Learn to use basic electrical testing equipment, including voltmeters and multimeters, under appropriate supervision.
• Assist with maintenance on glass edging, beveling, and mirror manufacturing equipment.
• Learn the operation of automated production lines, heating equipment, and related mechanical systems.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, inspections, and adjustments.
• Identify unusual equipment noises, vibrations, wear, or operating problems.
• Assist experienced personnel with troubleshooting and equipment repairs.
• Follow established safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and chemical safety requirements.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and an understanding of how machinery operates.
• Comfortable using common hand tools and basic power tools.
• Basic familiarity with voltmeters or multimeters is a plus, but not required. Willingness to learn is essential.
• Some experience working around manufacturing machinery, conveyors, or mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new equipment and processes.
• Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to take initiative, ask questions, and develop new technical skills.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Experience That Could Be a Good Fit

Previous industrial maintenance experience is helpful but not required. Electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and advanced maintenance certifications are not required to get started.
