Litchfield, IL – The position offers CRNAs the opportunity to practice in a highly autonomous, blended team model with physicians and CRNAs sharing call and administering anesthesia personally. Diverse case mix allows utilization of regional anesthesia skills. St. Francis Hospital is a Catholic not‑for‑profit health‑care facility, an affiliate of Hospital Sisters Health System, founded in 1875 to meet the needs of the two‑county area. It is fully licensed, accredited, and employs nearly 240 area residents, offering a full range of medical services including a surgery center, cancer care center, state‑of‑the‑art imaging, and rehabilitation. It is the only hospital in the area providing maternity services. Responsibilities Pre‑anesthesia assessment Obtain and/or verify patient consent Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring the patient's physiological condition Perform clinical interventions as needed Requirements Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited nurse‑anesthesia education program Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists Litchfield, IL is located halfway between St.Louis, MO and Springfield, IL, serving Montgomery and Macoupin counties.
