role at this awesome practice! In our established practice, we welcome a strong flow of new patients each month.

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Overview: Part-time General Dentist in New Haven, CT 3 days per week: Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday Hours: 8AM-5PM Daily guarantee or percentage of collections up to 36% Benefits:

Please note that some benefits require full-time employment (Averaging 32 hours a week) Health Insurance with optional HSA (health savings account), (single or family coverage) Exclusive discounts through LifeMart for those enrolled in our benefits coverage, for savings on gyms, meal services, rental cars, and more Dental benefits (including free cleanings) Vision coverage Employee assistance program with access to mental health support, legal advice, financial counseling, and more 401K with dedicated financial assistance Continuing education through opportunities at 42 North Dental, as well as opportunities to attend free CE events through Harvard Rounds Network Unlimited earning potential Responsibilities: Promote oral health and disease prevention Diagnose oral diseases Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health Review treatment plan options with patients Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development Skills & Qualifications: DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA) Current state license to practice dentistry Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination Proof of malpractice insurance Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
