This collaborative environment delivers FRESH THINKING, reassuring our customers that they choose the best when they choose to work with the people of Dover Food Retail.Job Title: Supervisor, ProductionLocation: Conyers, GAWhat we’re looking for:The Supervisor, Production provides leadership to team leads and a team of hourly production employees, ensuring the team meets production targets safely, on time, and to established quality standards.What you’ll be responsible for in this role:Provide leadership to team leads and front-line hourly production team members; ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback.Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.Drive a culture of continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans.Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements.Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s).Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure the team meets production targets safely, on time, and to established quality standards.Ensure timely response to operational issues impacting customer expectations and project cycle time performance.Be knowledgeable of company policies and engage appropriate resources (HR, Safety, etc.) when required to handle issues that arise.Support, communicate, implement, sustain, and consistently enforce all company policies/proceduresBuild and sustain good morale and attitudes among all reporting associates.Initiate requisitions for open positions.
