Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours/Week
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Traveler Candidates Required: Yes
Pay Rate: $22 – $24/hour

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support front-office and back-office operations, including patient care, clinical procedures, and administrative duties.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, in addition to an externship.
Medical Assistant certification strongly preferred.
Phlebotomy and venipuncture experience required.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience required.
Strong front-office and back-office clinical support experience.
Current BLS or CPR certification.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and computer skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Greet, check in, and room patients while providing a professional and welcoming experience.
Obtain and document patient vital signs and other clinical information.
Perform blood draws, phlebotomy, and venipuncture procedures.
Administer vaccines and provide additional clinical support as needed.
Perform EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing.
Schedule patient appointments and manage incoming calls.
Support front-office and back-office operations.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and center staff.
Assist with health education and patient outreach initiatives.
Follow established clinical, safety, and infection-control procedures.
Provide additional administrative and clinical support based on center needs.
