Job Title: Electrical Project Manager (Commercial Construction – Large-Scale Projects)

Location: Sullivan, Indiana
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $120,000 annually

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee large-scale commercial electrical construction projects valued at $20 million+ . The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex electrical systems on commercial, industrial, or institutional projects from pre-construction through closeout.

This role requires proven leadership in managing budgets, schedules, field teams, subcontractors, and client relationships on high-value electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of electrical construction projects ($20M+) from start to finish
Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and profitability
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and milestones
Coordinate with general contractors, engineers, owners, and subcontractors
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
Lead field supervision teams, foremen, and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with NEC codes, OSHA regulations, and local requirements
Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes
Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and progress
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Identify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues
Maintain strong client communication and project reporting

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in commercial electrical construction
Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects ($20M+)
Strong understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems
Experience with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera, etc.)
Solid knowledge of NEC codes and construction safety standards
Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors

Preferred Qualifications

Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Experience with data centers, manufacturing, healthcare, or large institutional projects
PMP certification a plus
