Registered Nurse - Surgical Services

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour day shifts with rotating weekend and weekday call.

Job Description

The Surgical Services unit requires a skilled Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Scrub in for a variety of surgical procedures, including OB/GYN, Neuro, Vascular, Endo Vascular, Orthopedic, Plastics, Interventional Pain, ENT, and Eyes.
• Assist with case management and patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Participate in call rotations, ensuring a 30-minute response time.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with BLS (and ACLS where applicable) during all patient interactions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred, PALS for PACU.
• Experience as a scrub nurse or significant background in surgical services.
• CST certification preferred for travelers.
