Medical Assistant – Medical Assistant

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00).

No weekend requirements or floating, and no scheduling requests can be accommodated within the first two weeks.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting, with required OBGYN experience.
• Medical Assistant diploma from a DAPIP accredited program.
• Certifications: BLS from AHA or ARC only.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Special requirements: proficiency in fetal heart tone monitoring, blood/lab draws/venipuncture, and experience with EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient care and treatment procedures.
• Perform clinical tasks such as obtaining vitals, conducting tests, and preparing patients for examinations.
• Manage patient records and documentation in the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area.
• Provide exceptional patient service and support.
