Responsibilities:

• Conducting initial assessments and designing personalized treatment plans for each patient.
• Administering various therapies, exercises, manual therapy, modalities (e.g., ultrasound, heat/ice therapy), and educating patients.
• Educating patients on exercises, posture correction, and injury prevention for better long-term recovery and functionality.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team for holistic, patient-centered care.
• Monitoring patient progress, adapting treatment plans to meet rehab goals.
• Documenting treatment plans and progress notes following departmental policies.
• Providing patient education to empower individuals in their recovery.
• Maintaining a safe environment, following infection control guidelines.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Licensure: Must possess or qualify for a Physical Therapist license in the state.
• Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management abilities.
• Patient Care: Capable of providing compassionate, quality care for various patient conditions.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently; frequent standing, walking, bending.
