About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Finance to play a pivotal role in the financial strategy and planning of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes to ensure alignment with growth targets. This role involves building and managing an FP&A function, providing strategic business partnership to department heads, and overseeing all accounting operations to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls. The VP of Finance will also be tasked with developing and refining financial systems, delivering timely and accurate reporting, and driving data-informed decision-making to support the company's mission of modernizing the animal health industry. Applicants for the VP of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years' of experience in strategic finance, preferably within a growth-stage or late-stage startup. A strong background in FP&A, strategic finance, and operational modeling is essential, as is proficiency in US GAAP and experience with audits and compliance. The role requires advanced proficiency in financial software and a deep desire to implement AI-native solutions.
