This position involves conducting detailed inspections, testing, and analysis of electronic components and assemblies to identify defects or deviations from specifications. The technician collaborates closely with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. By maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to regulatory and company quality standards, the technician helps safeguard product reliability and safety. Ultimately, this role contributes to delivering high-quality electronic products that enhance customer satisfaction and support the company’s reputation in the marketplace. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or related field preferred. Experience with electronic testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering tools. Ability to use a microscope for inspection. Basic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and assembly processes. Familiarity with quality control principles, inspection techniques, and documentation standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Preferred Qualifications: Technical certification or associate degree in electronics technology, engineering, or a related discipline. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., ISO 9001, IPC standards). Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis methodologies to enhance the technician’s ability to contribute to process improvements and defect reduction initiatives. Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools. Strong documentation skills to ensure that inspection results and quality issues are recorded clearly, supporting traceability and regulatory compliance. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities: Perform in-process and final inspections of electronic components and assemblies using precision measurement tools, test equipment, and microscope. Conduct functional and environmental testing to verify product performance against design specifications.
