Role: Sr. Cost Accountant – Manufacturing (SAP S/4HANA required) 
Location: Valdosta, GA
On-Site (Monday-Friday)
Compensation: $120,000-140,000/year

Position Summary
The Sr. Cost Accountant oversees end ? to ? end cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost control for a high ? volume glass production facility. This role partners closely with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to ensure accurate costing, strong inventory controls, and actionable insights that improve efficiency and margins.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Costing & Standards
• Maintain and update standard costs for materials and production processes within SAP S4 Hana
• Review BOMs and routings for accuracy
• Support new product costing and margin analysis
• Inventory & Manufacturing Accounting
• Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
• Lead cycle counts and investigate discrepancies
• Cost Variance Analysis
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances
• Deliver insights to operations to improve performance
• Month-End Close
• Prepare inventory journal entries and reconciliations
• Support overall close activities
• Maintain cost structures and master data within SAP S4 Hana
• Ensure system accuracy and data integrity

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)
• CPA or CMA preferred
• 7 years of cost accounting - Standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting (Required)
• SAP (S/4HANA) experience is required - MUST have implementation experience (Required)
• Advanced Excel preferred
• Manufacturing industry preferred
• Must be able to commute daily on-site to Valdosta, GA (Monday-Friday) - Open to candidates interested in relocation
