General Orthopedic Surgeon

Prime Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL. This is a full-time opportunity to provide high-quality orthopedic care in a well-established, community-focused hospital with access to advanced surgical technologies and collaborative clinical support.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat injuries or disorders of the musculoskeletal system

Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures

Collaborate with hospital staff and specialists to provide comprehensive patient care

Participate in on-call coverage as required

Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited program

Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois

Excellent clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $650,000 -$ 750,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
