Speech-Language Pathologist

Schedule:

• 20 hours per week
• Flexible schedule

Compensation:

• $55/hour

Contract Duration:

• Academic Year: 2024-2025

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy services to a diverse student population.
• Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments; analyze results and create reports to evaluate strengths and concerns in motor speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, literacy, and dysphagia.
• Develop child- and family-centered treatment plans that build on the student's strengths.
• Ensure IEP, ETR, and progress monitoring comply with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Collect and analyze daily data to adjust treatment strategies based on student performance trends.
• Participate in IEP and MFE meetings, providing necessary documentation for review in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with staff and other educational team members to support student development.
• Train staff, primary care providers, and team members on classroom strategies to promote skill generalization and identify students needing speech and language evaluations.
• Maintain and communicate daily schedules to building leaders and department supervisors.

Qualifications:

Required:

• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Florida SLP License
• Comfortable working with a diverse workforce

Preferred:

• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially those with special needs (e.g., autism).
• Credentialed with additional insurance providers.

Education:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Florida SLP License
