The position involves working at Mather Hospital and South Shore University Hospital, both recognized for their commitment to patient care and academic teaching. Practice Info The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is expanding its Women's Health services across the Health System. Mather Hospital is an accredited 248-bed, non-profit community teaching hospital. South Shore University Hospital is a 305-bed hospital with plans to potentially expand to over 400 beds. South Shore University Hospital has 2,500 deliveries per year. Northwell Health's Women and Infant's Center at South Shore University Hospital will contain 29 private rooms and a 16-bay neonatal intensive care unit. South Shore University Hospital is an academic teaching center for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, providing residencies and fellowships in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.
