Location: Woodbridge, NJ

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support complex electrical engineering design efforts and support large-scale transportation and infrastructure programs.

Position Overview

The Electrical Engineer will support electrical engineering design, quality control, and project execution for multi-million-dollar transportation and infrastructure projects, with a focus on facility electrical systems, lighting design, and facility power. This role includes full project lifecycle involvement - from concept design through construction support - and offers strong growth and leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform facility power, lighting, and electrical system design
• Prepare electrical scopes of work & cost proposals
• Develop drawings, schematics, layouts & specifications
• Perform system calculations, modeling & analysis
• Support construction including review of submittals & RFIs
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies
• Mentor junior engineers and present technical solutions to clients & leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification
• 5+ years of electrical design experience (5-8 years ideal)
• Strong experience in:
  • Power distribution systems
  • Substations & switchgear
  • Facility power systems
  • Grounding, lighting & low-voltage systems
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE & UL codes
• Software experience:
  • AutoCAD
  • Revit
  • OpenBuildingDesigner
  • OpenRoadDesigner
