About the Role As a Speech Language Pathologist Per Diem, you will provide short‑term speech therapy services to residents who require temporary assistance due to a medical condition, injury, or other health‑related issues. Your expertise will focus on helping residents regain their communication skills, cognitive abilities, and overall functional capacity. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to create personalized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and assess residents’ communication and swallowing skills, as well as cognitive and physical abilities Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy Conduct speech therapy sessions, including individual and group therapy, in a variety of settings, such as the therapy room, resident rooms, or outdoors Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident assessments, treatments, and progress Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and share expertise with other healthcare professionals Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in patient care, maintaining high standards of quality and compassion Requirements Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology 1 year of experience in speech language pathology, preferably in a sub‑acute or rehab setting Current state licensure and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer Competitive hourly rate of $55 Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals Chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents Setting Standards in Home Health Care How to Apply If you are a passionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist looking for a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply for this Per Diem position.
