Lead CNC Machinist: Weekend Shift

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This position receives an 11.11% shift differential amount in addition to the hourly base rate of pay. The Lead CNC Machinist will work with staff members in the machining cell on the weekend shift, operating Haas and Hurco 3‑, 4‑, & 5‑axis machines along with a Haas Lathe. This role supports the supervisor and team in achieving on time delivery & quality goals, troubleshooting with machinists, mentoring & training machinists, and at the direction of the department supervisor supports continuous improvement projects. Other Duties Knowledge of GD&T and inspection procedures. Strong troubleshooting skills & ability to solidify improvements. Strong interpersonal skills to include both written and oral communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet scheduled timelines. Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing. Ability to make sound decisions timely to improve results. Completion of Technical College, apprenticeship program or equivalent training & experience.
