What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor authorization, document arrivals and departures, and help to deter unauthorized access to the property.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through appropriate channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations as assigned, noting and reporting unusual activity or property concerns.
• Communicate with residents, property management, and emergency responders regarding security-related matters, visitor access, deliveries, and/or incidents requiring follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card is required. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
