Bus Driver Substitute

High School diploma or G.E.D. required

Must be able to read and follow a series of directions or instructions.

Must be able to lift, turn, twist, and bend on a frequent basis.

Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.

Must be 21 years of age or older.

Class B CDL required (on-site training available).

Must pass DOT Physical and pre-employment drug and alcohol screen.

Reports to: Director of Transportation

Essential job functions:

Student management.
Pre-trip and post-trip bus inspections daily.
Maintain and clean the interior of the bus.
Maintain an up-to-date seating chart.
Report behavioral issues to bus discipline supervisor.
Attend required driver trainings.
