Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Madison, AL

Job Type: Full-Time

Scheduled: 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM (30-40 hours per week)

No on-call or weekend requirement stated.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic serving children in a play-based, relationship-centered environment. The clinic brings together Speech, Occupational Therapy (OT), and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide collaborative, child-centered care.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy to pediatric patients ages 4-13.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each child's needs.
• Incorporate therapy into play and everyday experiences.
• Collaborate with OT, ABA, RBTs, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
• Support a positive, engaging, and relationship-centered environment for children and families.

Education, Licensure, and Experience

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification required.
• New graduates are welcome, provided they do not require supervision as a Clinical Fellow.
• Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred.
• Experience or credentialing with BCBS, Medicaid, and/or TriCare is preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
