Schedule/Shift

This position offers a day shift from 06:45 to 19:15, with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care in the Medical-Surgical unit, responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing patient care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions and vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health practices.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Required Experience

• Valid nursing license in the state of Nevada.
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical unit preferred.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required; candidates have 60 days to complete ACLS and 90 days to complete PALS after the start date.

Certifications/Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• ACLS certification required (within 60 days).
• PALS certification required (within 90 days).
